iPhone 5 Can’t Continuously Auto Focus *DURING VIDEO*

The default iPhone 5 app has no ability to continuously auto focus DURING VIDEO. I am not talking about when snapping a picture, or just before hitting record on the camera or while manually tapping to focus. I am talking about moving the recording camera and noticing that it can’t re-evaluate focus to save its life.
